In much-needed fresh air, I braved the cold and went to Slimbridge on 19th January 2023. I love Slimbridge and how it's different every time you go.
This time the water was very much icy, with thawed patches. This made photography even more enjoyable.
For me, it was the black-headed gull and the Moorhen stealing the show.
The Moorhen enjoyed annoying the gull.
I cannot forget the NeNe; it's so amazing that they managed to breed last year. They are beautiful.
The Berwick Swans
Wigeons and Buffleheads
I did capture the Graylegs flying around, but none appealed to me apart from this one.

The little birds also managed to hog the limelight too.
And to top my visit off, I got to capture this little dude.

A Water Rail.
I recommend Slimbirdge; I love the place and never get bored being with the birds and how the surroundings change each time I go.
Slimbrdige visit gave me a much-needed buzz to get back out with my camera.
