Bath Abbey Panorama

beckyharvey23

As promised on my Bath Photo Walkabout, I have created a Panorama of Bath Abbey, as I am feeling better this week, and my Laptop is sorted.

Fiona set Lorraine and me a challenge last Friday to create a Panorama. I have only done one but must admit I didn't realise we had to set up our cameras, as, in my previous Panorama, I just did in lightroom.

To set up this challenge (hopefully, I remember the steps correctly), we needed to do the following:

  • Put our camera on manual mode

  • Set our ISO 200

  • Exposure 1/250 sec at f/8.0

  • Take a practice shot with A/F on the lens, then change to manual, so we have the exact Focal length each time.

As we were ready, we could snap away from our start point to our endpoint, which I ended up taking 8 photos of.

The next step for Panorama is creating the Panorama in Lightroom. To do this, I did an engine search, which allows me to follow the steps to do this.

Here are the steps:

  • Upload the photos into Lightroom

  • Highlight the photos you want to merge

  • Right-click on one of the photos and click Photomerge, then Panorama

  • Then a screen will appear which you can select your projection and merge.

I decided to use all three perspectives as some fun; please vote for the photo you like best by commenting in the comment box, either a), b), or c).

A) - Spherical

B) Cylindrical

C) Perspective

I cannot wait to see what you think.
