On Friday, I decided I would visit Cerney House Gardens. I have seen the place advertised on Facebook and was intrigued by it. As the blue skies were out, it did not disappoint.
As I put my money in the honesty box, there were two choices, to do the wood walk first or the gardens, so I decided to start with the woods.

As I was walking, there were plenty of snowdrops to see.
When I took a look back, I noticed other people were enjoying the woods too.

As I continued to walk, I noticed a couple of escapees enjoying themselves.

As I turned the corner to go down the track, the flowers were popping out.
then I saw this cute little bench

The view from the bench was beautiful.

As I walked down this track, I couldn't resist taking a photo of the leaves and the view you could see in the gap on the left.
As I got to the bottom of the track, there were multiple tracks and a cute little coffee shop, which was lovely. I decided to walk back to the crossroads and carry on towards the house.
I was so mesmerised by the woods.
As I got partway down, I stood and watched the birds; they were being tricky to capture, but I managed to get a lovely Robin.

I reached the front of the house and headed to the pond, not before slipping on some mud and landing on my bottom, so I had a nice muddy bum. Note to me to take some spare trousers. I got by the pond and lent against a log, listening to the birds. I managed to see a Woodpecker, but unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough to take a photo of it.
I spent quite a bit of time at this spot, which I loved and managed to capture the following:
After a while, I headed back towards the house and headed to the gardens. I spotted some bird feeders, so I spent a bit of time capturing the birds.
After some practising, I made it to the gardens, and they are wow. I cannot wait to see the gardens in the different seasons, especially when it's a warm summer day, where I can bring a book where I can sit and read, taking in the scenery.
I took a walk back through the little bit of the woods to get back to the car. It was a lovely day and a lovely hidden gem, and I cannot wait to go back for a subsequent visit. Recommend Cerney House Gardens.
