Such a strange week, as I was really suffering from my Mental Health on Monday (7th June 2021) and then on Friday, as I was feeling better, I met up with one of my bestie in London (11th June 2021). That's the thing with Mental Health. It's so up and down and not a straight line.
I got on the train to London; I cannot remember when was the last time I was on the train but loved the journey, just sitting and gazing out the window. When I arrived at Paddington Station, I headed to Regents Park to meet a friend.
When we saw one another, we hugged as we haven't seen each other since July 2019; even though we speak all of the time, it's not the same as being in person.
We decided we would have lunch first and found this nice little Cafe; I had a hamburger and chips, my friend had shepherds pie, and we both had a lush cocktail.

After lunch, we decided to have a mooch around and leave Regents Park until later. We came across Liberty.
We walked to Hamleys; this is one of the window display.
We did go into Hamleys let our inner child out, lol. After Hamleys, we found this cute little street.
I managed to capture a Red Bus without traffic, which was rather tricky as you have a split second.
We ended up at the Mall and also seen the Household Cavalry.
While we were there, we decided to go and take a break at St James's Park, which was lovely to sit and catch up. However, I cannot believe how brazen the animals were when we started walking a circuit around the park, stopping to get ice cream to cool us down.
We headed back up the Mall and decided we would randomly pick a street to walk down, thinking we are heading in the right direction to Regent Park, but we weren't as we made it at the Ritz.
So we decided we would jump on the tube to get to our destination.
We made it to Regent Park. Regent Park is so huge. As we walked, we saw someone being interviewed.
I gatecrashed someone having their photo taken; I think this pose modelled them.
As we continued walking, we were amazed at how big the flowers were.
We grabbed a drink and a snack from the cafe and sat on the grass. It was nice to take my shoes off and let my bare feet feel the grass. Yes, I did take a photo of my manky feet.🤣🤣
It was so nice chilling; we both just loved sitting there talking and watching the world.
It was then time to head back, as we needed to catch our trains. Walking back through the park, we noticed baby Moorhens. First time I have seen baby Moorhens.
My friend had a go with my camera, and I was the subject.
As we continued to head back to the station, we came across these beautiful flowers.
It was a lovely day, and I cannot wait for our next catch up.
