Today was our Grand Day Out at Bath. Fiona from Lacock Photography, Lorraine and I.
I met Fiona at Lacock Photography, who had plenty of cuddles from Hamish, a new bestie. We both headed to Bath together and met up with Lorriane outside Bath Abbey.
We spent some time taking photos of the Abbey; I will do a Panorama with them to be coming soon.
We were trying to capture people getting into the pattern but walking faster, using a slow shutter speed. As always, Fiona is willing to be our subject.
As we mooched about, we practised taking shots of people walking by the pillars and having the shop in the background.
Then we went by the Roman Baths and played with the reflections in the glass.
As we continued on our mooch, taking photos on the way, we came across this lovely musician, who was happy for us to take photos of him.
We played with shapes by the Theatre Royal,g and Fiona spoke to the Bar people to ask if we could take their photos, which they obliged.
Fiona is really good at going up to people and asking if we could practice our camera skills, taking their photos.
As we headed to the Royal Crescent, chatting and joking away, which was so lovely.
When we got to the Crescent, we met Mary the Daschound.
Then we saw some Graduates, again Fiona spoke to them, and they were happy for us to take photos of them, they were lovely young adults.
We then headed out to the crescent towards a cafe to have a drink. I did have a little wobble; Fiona and Lorriane were lovely and supported me as I struggle in the heat due to my medication.
After our pit stop, we headed to Pultney Weir; I did have another wobble; Fiona and Lorriane were wonderful and scooped me up.
After Pultney Weir, our walk came to an end, and we headed home. Even though I had a couple of wobbles, I really enjoyed the day, and it was charming seeing Fiona and Lorraine again, we got on so well, and hopefully, we can do this again soon.
