Last weekend (1st August), my plans changed due to falling over the day before and hurting my foot. I decided I would go to Lacock Village and Abbey as it wasn't far from where I live, and I could hobble around quite easy as the ground was flat.
I got there a bit early, which was nice as I managed to capture a couple of photos without people in them, which is rare in Lacock.
On the way back to the Abbey, I saw these cute little shoes hidden.
When I was in the Abbey, I had a look at the museum, my first time, believe it or not. I am not very good at taking photos inside, so please do so if anyone has some tips to share, as it would be good to improve.
I headed back out to walk around the grounds. The grounds are so beautiful.
Then I went inside the Abbey. I have been in the below before.
But I haven't actually been in the house, which is bad considering it is on my doorstep.
After looking around the house, I headed back to have one last look around the village.
I went to the Ford, where a couple of dogs loved playing in the water and catching their ball, which gave me a chance to practice my action photography. You will have to wait for my next blog to see their photos.
