Monday 19th April 2021
The weather was amazing today. I decided I would go out with my camera to practice what I learnt from Saturday. I went to Devizes and walked along the canal to enjoy the beautiful weather.
For me personally, I love being by the water; it's so tranquil and relaxing. There are also many activities going on, which is a good photo opportunity.
I start my route at the Wharf and walk towards Caen Hill Locks.
As I made my way to the towpath, you can see above, and while walking down this towpath, I came across the lovely dogs and butterfly.
The sun was so strong it was tough to take photos as I was walking down the Canal, but I managed to take these.
The naughty mallard kept getting close to the Swans, and they told him off. His friends joined in and kept getting told off by them.
I knew they were up to no good, so I hanged around to see if I could take some action photography of them and here are a few I managed to capture.
Hopefully, I have got my important threes right—Tech quality, composition and point of view.
I made my way back up the Canal with the Sun now behind me. I love the sun personally myself as it makes me feel better, but taking photos a lot harder.
On my way back, see a couple of people fishing.
Then I came across the cute ducklings, loved watching them and capturing them. They are so tiny and quick. All over the place, poor mummy duck had to keep calling them.
Continuing my way back as I wanted to go and look at Market Place to try out my landscape lens, I captured these lovely flowers and birds.

Wednesday 21st April 2021
Today's walk after work was Corsham Court along the grounds. The gardens are shut by the time I finish work; it's on the list.
This evening was a beautiful evening. I walked along the track to reach the fields.
The Park is huge; I made my way to the lake, there were Candian Geese.
And a lot of other people enjoying the park, especially the dogs.
I spent quite a bit of time by the lake practising my action photography.
I also managed to capture this little chappy - I think it's a Crested Grebe, but please correct me if I am wrong, as my knowledge of birds is not that great. The great thing is I am learning my bird knowledge along while doing my photography.
As I walked back, I went to the next field to capture the sheep; they were so cute.
After having fun with the Sheep, I head to Corsham Town Centre.
As I got in the car to go home, I spotted the Peacock. I parked my car up and grabbed my camera, and started taking photos. Male Peacocks are really stunning.
This really made my evening seeing this.
