Nature Day today

beckyharvey23

Today I had to go to Devizes Treatment Centre to talk to the consultant about taking my Wisdom Tooth out. I had a little panic attack in the waiting room as they were running behind; I was glad when I got to see the Dentist. My tooth is coming out next month, and they are going to Sedate me, which I will need. As I was at the Treatment Centre, I thought I would visit Drews Pond Nature Reserve close by. It was my first time there, but I needed to be out in the fresh air and surrounded by nature.

I managed to find the track and suddenly came across this lovely Robin.

I carried on walking along the track and up these steps.

I managed to capture these beauties.

I walked into a field, seeing dog walkers having a catch-up, and the dogs were enjoying their run, which was nice to see. I followed the track round, came across some bluebells.

I walked to the bottom of the track, saw the pond and decided to go left and spotted this little bird peeping out of the tree, which is so cool.

I saw a track going through the woods; I decided to explore. When I got to the top, I saw a white bushy tail in front of me; it was a Muntjac Deer. They are so quick, managed to get a shot with my camera, it's not the best capture, but I am pleased to capture it.

I walked over the bridge and back onto the track I started on. As I walked back to my car, I came across these birds and squirrels having fun, which was really entertaining.

Got back to my car, I decided that I would go for a walk along the Canal as it was nice. Before I did that, I need to grab some lunch, and I wanted to find my friend Rose Yoga Studio. I parked my car at the Wharf, walked towards the Market Place in Devizes, and came across Rose's Yoga Studio, which she was there. We had a chat, and I had a sneaky peek at the Studio. It is really fab and beautiful, friendly; I cannot wait to give Yoga a go. If you want to have a go at Yoga, here is her website: Sow & Root (sowandroot.co.uk)

After my sneaky peek, I grab some lunch from Greg's, walked towards the Canal, found a bench and had my lunch before taking more photos. Lunch break over, I started to walk towards Caen Hill locks, and I spotted Red Kite in the air, first time taking a photo of them, which I am pretty chuffed for the first attempts at this.

I need to clean my lens; I think there are a few rain spots from the other day. Whoops. Then a Herron was flying, which I managed to capture, it's not perfect, but I am not worried as I am chuffed that I managed to capture it in the air.

Here is a better photo of the Herron

The Pesky Mallard's love annoying the swans.

Then I saw this, totally gobsmacked.

Then I saw these beauties.

Nature really spoilt me today; I know how lucky I am to get to enjoy this. Being out in nature allows me to escape the world for a while and technology, lets me be in the present at that moment.
