Today, I decided to go for a walk and get used to my new camera. My plan today was to practice getting the focus correct and learning where the buttons are so I can memorise them.
Focusing at the start wasn't brilliant, especially for close-ups; it started to bug me.
When I reached the field, I managed to get my long shots in focus a bit more.
But I still wasn't sure how to get my close up in focus. Hence, as I kept playing, I found the AF button on my camera, which is short for Auto Focus, which was a lifesaver, as I wished to go back to my old camera because it was comfortable, and this was out of my comfort zone. Still, I knew I had to continue as it was the only way to approve and today wasn't about the perfect picture; it was about getting the focus right and getting used to the camera. So as I carried on, I also managed to find the exposure setting. I noticed that I was starting to get better photos.
I came across this beautiful little patch, so I decided I would practice on the flowers.
After some time here, I made it to Chippenham Town bridge and practised on the swan, ducks and pigeons.
Then headed into Monkton Park; I only managed to walk to the other side of the Park as I was still building up my energy after having a cold, as the cold wiped me out.
Here are the photos from the Park.
As I headed home, I stopped by the flower patch one more time and managed to capture some insects.
At the end of my walk, I was pleased with the photos I took; it wasn't about perfection today as nothing is perfect; it was about getting non-blurry images.
