My Name is Becky and over the last five months I have found passion for Photography.
In 2019 I had a knee operation and suffered with Anxiety and Depression. I was a keen Horse Rider before and loved going out, but I found that all of the sudden I couldn't carry on as I was before and had to relearn to walk and rebuild my life again.

With the help of my therapist I managed to do this, it was the hardest journey but the best journey and her support is so valuable to me.
How did I get into photography

I needed to find a new interest and I decided to give Photography ago as I could combine this with walking and start meeting people again.

I booked onto Beginners Part 1 Photography Workshop with Lacock Photography. I was really anxious about attending the course, but I managed to pluck up the courage and made myself go.

It was the best thing I did. Fiona the instructor was lovely and the people on the workshop was lovely as the number of people allowed on the workshop was four. I never looked backed.

I have now attended Beginners Part 2 Workshop and Adobe Lightroom Workshop with Lacock Photography and now I am a member of Lacock Photography Members Club.
Photography for me is escapism from every day life. I love going out in the fresh air either around my local patch or going to National Trust places. I love being in the present, taking photos off Wildlife, flowers, landscapes or random stuff and then seeing them on the screen and finding that special one. I don't always get it right when taking photos but I love learning and going out to practice.

I hope that everyone will find what they are passionate about, as I didn't think I would find something to replace horse riding and I did.
